Tre cantieri romani. Costruire nell'esistente tra storia e innovazione

Build in built: re-use, transformation, adaptation to existent. The Glasshouse ex Piacentini in the Expositions Palace, the Hertzian library, Ghella Offices: three intrventions of contemporary architecture in Rome historical context which have in common the authors' point of view about the way to intervene on the existent, respecting the handmade without giving up modernity. The stories start from the project to arrive to construction, revealing some back-grounds. Not only glossy "magazine" images, but also a description of the process, from the project to the building yard, difficulties, possible solutions, the reason of the choices.
