Quaderno dell'Istituto di Psicoterapia del Bambino e dell'Adolescente is the official publication of the Istituto di Psicoterapia del Bambino e dell'Adolescente [Institute for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy] which has its headquarters in Milan at the address: via F.lli Bronzetti 28. It is a private, not-for-profit scientific, psychoanalytical and cultural Association. Its aims are the development of the theory and practice of psychiatry-oriented child and adolescent psychotherapy, together with in-depth study of the associated family problems and of the appropriate techniques by which to address these problems, their dissemination and application both in the public and private sphere, and the training of psychoanalysis-oriented psychotherapists.
The Institute, set up in January 1973, has enjoyed the offcial status of a School since 1975. The School is recognised by the Ministry for University and Scientific and Technological Research, and since the Academic Year 1994-1995 it has been legally empowered to set up training courses in Psychotherapy in conformity with Art. 3 of Act of Law nr. 565 of the Italian Republic, dated 18th February 1989.
