If the sociology wants to be the critical participation of the human being to everything is human, it must join rigorous analysis and attention to the present time, also the most deformed. In order not to put itself to the towing of the report, but in order to pick in the empiric data its deep sense, the connection with the totality. In this sense, "La critica sociologica", whose first number given from 1967, is a quarterly review politically engaged but at the same time scientifically rigorous. It publishes essays and tests of qualified sociologists and young scholars relating to the social theory and research, taking advantage also of the collaboration of cultural anthropologists, experts in communication, historians, social scientists of several disciplines. The subjects discussed go from the analysis of the power forms to the study of the society structure, from the research into migratory phenomena and multiethnic and multicultural new society to the investigation into the economic models.
