This photographic repertory serves as an immediate cognitive support, a map of the frame through the times and places which have most contributed to the creation of the golden age through the exchange of cultures. The choice of images used is the result of research carried out in the worlds of the antiques market and private collecting, thus creating a selective anthology of significant value. The criterion used was to create a general overview of the typologies in use throughout the different centuries, identifying the different situations of the times, whilst attempting to give the complete work balance so as to render it a fast yet convincing source to consult.
