Deconstructions brings together a body of work shaped by personal introspection, exploring themes of identity, family, sexuality, performance, and self-discovery.

Inspired by the productive potential of confusion, the artist embraces uncertainty as a catalyst for reflection, treating each artwork as a clue in an ongoing process of self-analysis. Spanning four distinct visual languages, Staged Scenes, Disrupted Prints, Dissected Frames, and Shoes, the book traces an evolving practice that challenges fixed meanings, social conventions, and binary thinking. Through humour, illusion, camouflage, and acts of disruption, the works examine the tension between concealment and expression, restriction and liberation.

The title Deconstructions references both the deconstructive philosophy of Jacques Derrida and the artist's desire to dismantle inherited narratives surrounding family, identity, and representation. Accompanied by responses from 22 writers, the publication celebrates multiple interpretations and invites viewers to embrace complexity, ambiguity, and the value of holding contradictory perspectives at once.
