Bruno Corà A leading exponent of the generation of artists of the Nineties, Giovanni Rizzoli expresses his creative universe in sculptures, paintings and drawings with a strong lyrical and evocative power. His work is a constant reflection - modulated through a variety of expressive languages - on the history of art and the need to be current, to capture the spirit of the times. In parallel to his sculptural research, since the early Nineties Rizzoli has been working alongside what he calls objective painting, a series of abstract "paintings" made with the use of the drip on fabric padding.
