Lara Almarcegui. Béton

Le chantier en cours dans la rivière de la Bléone a mené Lara Almarcegui au projet BÉTON, réalisé pour le CAIRN centre d'art : une réflexion sur le passé géologique du territoire des Alpes de Haute-Provence mais aussi un questionnement sur l'avenir des matériaux qui le composent.
Les textes de l'historienne de l'art Natacha Pugnet et du collectif curatorial Latitudes (Max Andrews & Mariana Cánepa Luna) s'accompagnent des échanges inédits entre l'artiste Lara Almarcegui et Winfried Dallmann (département de Sciences géologiques, UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø).

The ongoing building site in the Bléone river led Lara Almarcegui to realize the project BÉTON for CAIRN art center: a reflection on the geological past of this area, but also a questioning about the future of the materials which composed it.
The texts by the curatorial office Latitudes (Max Andrews & Mariana Cánepa Luna) and by the art historian Natacha Pugnet are gathered with the inedited exchanges between the artist and Winfried Dallmann (Department of Geosciences, UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø).
