Confronto. Riflessioni sui modelli di sviluppo. IX, 2003, 17-18

Confronto is going to promote the reflexion about the social, environmental and economic consequences of our model of development. Then the subject of the review is inherent to the effects caused by this model.
So a lot of attention has been and will be given to the problems concerning minorities - concept of ethnicity, linguistic minorities, ecc. -, the subject of alienation - social, psicological, ecc. - and questions connected with the environmental deterioration.
The other distinctivness of Confronto is its interest in the Mediterranean countries, in particular about the relations between the African and the European one.
The review is divided in two parts: the first one is general and theoretical, the other one is monographic and more specialised.
The contributors are important people from the academic world and young researchers who are going to promote their work. This guarantees the high quality of the review.
