The Bollettino publishes research papers relative to the history of Mathematics in its broader sense, including the History of Mechanics, of theoretical Astronomy, of natural Philosophy, and of all the disciplines traditionally included within the mathematical sciences. Continuing the tradition of Italian mathematical historiography, a special attention is reserved to the edition of unpublished manuscripts, relevant for the History of Mathematics, as well as of correspondence, bibliographical essays, archive's research, and in general of tools for the historical research.
The languages of the Bollettino are Italian, English, French, German and Latin. For the evaluation of the papers received, the Bollettino relies on an international network of anonymous referees
