This book is entirely in color and has an Italian text accompanied by translations into four languages. It presents some of the most important of the old-time cafes in Piedmont, including the restaurants, confectionaries, and pastry shops of the Associazione Locali storici d'Italia, an association of traditional establishments. The book features fourteen cafes from Turin and four from Cuneo Province and is addressed to readers interested in the esthetic, historical, and artistic qualities of these establishments as well as their gastronomical merits.
