Foreign Bodies

Foreign Bodies explores the definition and concept of body adornment today. In search for beauty and perfection, the body has become a luxury item. Christoph Zellweger makes hybrid objects, bridging art, design and science. Zellweger works in a range of different media: from jewellery, metalwork, ceramics and textile to installation, performance and computer generated material. This book presents jewels, art works, products in development, interactive installations and exhibition events. Foreign Bodies documents finshed works and works in progress, from public spaces to pieces worn on the body.
