The work is offered in an authentic facsimile reprint edition of only 500 numbered copies, printed in 8-12 colours in the original size of 49x35 cm on parchment-like art paper especially manufactured by the mill for this edition. The volume is entirely hand-bound in quarter brown calfskin, with wooden boards and tie-strings. It comes in a brown calfskin slipcase with blind toolings on the boards. The facsimile reprint edition is accompanied by a 216-page volume in Italian with commentary by the leading experts in this field, edited by Guglielmo Cavallo, professor at the La Sapienza University of Rome and member of the Accademia dei Lincei, who has also edited another volume in English with a summary of the commentary.
