It was with firm conviction that the Rome Chamber of Commerce, the capital's principal economic institution, guaranteed its contribution to the exhibition 'Anime di materia. La Libia di Ali Wak Wak' at the Vittoriano Museum Complex. The show focuses on the works that Libya's most important contemporary sculptor executed during the 2011 revolt, which are both creations of great artistic value and pregnant testimonies of civic commitment. In fact, Ali WakWak, transforms the instruments of war into "living" anthropomorphic and zoomorphic figures: his genius turns art into a life-giving force and a fundamental element in raising awareness of universal themes and creating dialogue between peoples. Hence, from a social and artistic standpoint this is an exhibition of the highest level, which truly enriches our city's cultural calendar.
