This book is developed as a modern and practice text for those who study Gas Dynamics.
In all the chapters, a brief and easily accessible theory covering the essence of the chapter material is given. The examples in every chapter is designed to give a feel about the physics associated with the subject material treated. The problems in all the chapters cover a wide range of varying intensity with a suitable mathematical approach. Solving these problems will make the readers comfortable with the theory and applications of gas dynamics. Most of the problems are class tested at both undergraduate and graduate level courses offered by the author at various universities in India and abroad.
