Museo Morandi. General Catalogue

The volume constitutes the updated and renewed version of the General Catalogue of the Morandi Museum in Bologna, a point of reference not only for admirers of the master and art lovers, but also for scholars and researchers from all over the world.The need for a reprint of the General Catalogue, after the 1993, 1996 and 2004 editions, is part of the process of enhancing the value of one of the most important artists of the 20th century, of international renown and undisputed topicality. New and previously unpublished historical-artistic contributions of high scientific value, an updated bibliography and list of exhibitions, and a renewed selection of iconographic apparatuses accompanying the texts have been added to some of the texts already present in the previous edition. Every painting, every engraving, every drawing is an invitation to discover Morandi's art, from which the passionate meditation on time, space, art, life and the mystery that envelops everything leaks out.
