Conceptual Art. The Panza Collection. [Edizione Italiana e Inglese]

Giuseppe Panza di Biumo, one of the most important collectors of American art of the post-war period, has again chosen the Mart as a showcase to present a wholly new part of his collection in Italy, that dedicated to conceptual art. This section is a rich collection based on a long tradition of acquisitions.
The presentation of conceptual art from the Panza collection, which was exhibited for the first time in 2008 at the Hirshhorn Museum of Washington, represents an event of great interest and novelty, because it explores a theme that is a historic one for the Mart's own line of research, that of the relationship between art and word.
On disply will be a series of works by artists of international fame, including Joseph Kosuth, Robert Berry, Hanne Darboven, Lawrence Weiner, Sol Le Witt, Jan Dibbets, Hamish Fulton, Franco Vimercati, Jan Wilson and Peter Wegner.
