A sea of museums. Sailing the cultural heritage of Genoa's civic museums

Since its origins, Genoa has always been deeply tied to the sea. Therefore, in the collections of the Civic Museums of Genoa, it is not difficult to find works, documents and artifacts telling one of the thousand different aspects of this indissoluble relationship. The decision to dedicate to the "sea" the second book of the Series of Education and Mediation of the Cultural Heritage - Civic Museums of Genoa (EMPaC), draws inspiration from the extraordinary event The Ocean Race - Genoa The Grand Finale 2022- 23, that will be welcomed by the Ligurian capital from 24 June to 2 July 2023. The pages of this book on Genoa's museums and civic collections offer a fascinating narrative of Genoa and the sea.
