Icastica 2015

In 2015 ICASTICA has been characterized by a different interpretation of the introductory message, which like other slogans that are now part of the collective imagination tries to rouse the citizen, tourist or art lover who out of curiosity or passion has decided to come and visit the event in Arezzo: 'cultivating culture' as axiom of the educational capacity of culture with regard to the visitor, the neophyte, the enthusiast, even the art critic. The cultural route that has led us to this year's ICASTICA is now well-trodden and through a reiteration of the artistic gesture in several key places of the city is able to get a whole world linked to culture to act as a vehicle of development and promotion.
Speaking of cultural policies in a city of art like Arezzo brings up the question, and it is an ambitious one, of the need to constantly raise the crossbar of the quality of the artistic product and the 'tourist package' offered by the city. This year too ICASTICA has performed its role correctly, and without the strident provocations of the first two years.
