Strada Paesaggio Città. La Città in Estensione tra Palermo e Agrigento

The awareness of modernity implies the analysis of morphological and dimensional aspects of the new places in order to understand the meaning of spatial relationships and develop an aesthetic definition of the processes. Starting from the concept of the city in extension developed, an interpretative and design framework has been developed within the Sicilian territory which is distinguished by the road connecting Palermo with Agrigento, the Tyrrhenian Sea with the African Sea and characterized by several city-villages, the rural countryside as well as the hybrid places of the urban sprawl. In this landscape the architecture project has been taken into consideration to identify and promote strategies and forms for the development of territory.
