This book isn't an exhibition catalogue. It's a diary, the story of ten years of human-as well as artistic-experiences that have shaped the Advanced Course in Visual Arts organized by the Fondazione Antonio Ratti. This book has many authors. Alongside the great artists who have held the Course in Como, there are the students, many of whom have gone on to make an impression in the international art scene. And then there are those who have planned and directed the Course, the curators, and the memories of everyone who has participated.
This book isn't really a book. It's a slice of concentrated life. A challenge. The challenge to-apart from celebrating ten years of common experience-take a risk on the future and the individuals who make, live, and love art.
