The provincia di Genova is a mosaic of coasts and mountains, the scent of the sea meeting the flavours of the country. The 27 itineraries presented in this volume cover an array of choices, from easy family walks to scenic loops and demanding trails - for the joy of strenuous trekkers. Local public authorities (Comunità montane and Enti Parco) have selected the itineraries, which have been carefully described by FIE (Federazione Italiana Escursionismo) experts. The book is completed by fact sheets (one for each itinerary: difficulty, time, height difference, trail signage, trail characteristics, suggested period, trail access, parking facilities, public transport, shelters - if present) and detailed maps.
