The colours of changement, the title of this action, invokes a change, or its acceleration, its effectiveness, decisive for the lives of millions of people; and it cites the thirteen colors that correspond to those of the flag that gathers all the battles for the rights of subjectivities. Flags, as is known, are the result of a process of abstraction that leads to the symbolic identification of a value, an identity category, an idea, with shapes and colors. Woven, printed, sewn together or reproduced in any material, flags sometimes risk losing this connection, becoming a pure icon, a banner abused and devoid of meaning. Gaggia inverts the constitutive process of the flag and brings its parts back to the state of scrap: in the first part of this action, thirteen young athletes reduce the pieces of colored fabric to strips and throw them into the air.
