Le nuove tendenze. Rivelazioni di un'arte percettiva e sensoriale costruttiva e interattiva

In an alternative space, different from traditional galleries, the exhibition will show the most significant works of the Italian representatives of constructive, optical, kinetic and programmed art who, in the sixties, took part in the cultural project of Zagreb Nove Tendencije. The exhibition path, set up to highlight both group and solo works, will twist and turn throughout works of Getulio Alviani, Giovanni Anceschi, Marina Apollonio, Antonio Barrese, Alberto Biasi, Davide Boriani, Ennio Chiggio, Gianni Colombo, Toni Costa, Dadamaino, Gabriele Devecchi, Lucia Di Luciano, Edoardo Landi, Enzo Mari, Manfredo Massironi, Marcello Morandini, Bruno Munari, Giovanni Battista Pizzo and Grazia Varisco. For the occasion, a catalogue edited by Giovanni Anceschi will be published, including texts of the artists, to support the historical importance of the New Tendencies and to remember the atmosphere of absolute intellectual freedom in which they took place. The New Tendencies have been one of the most successful experiments aimed at understanding that, at the same time and in different countries, similar forms of art and thoughts were been developed, and soon they would have enriched and changed art history.
