The collection of works, strictly designed in accordance with a logical, mathematical style, guides us towards the identification of the principle groups on which the paintings by the two artists are based. Pizzo and Di Luciano utilize a semiotic, structural process to investigate space and time, employing calculation and a combination of signs to proclaim an aesthetic operation demonstrated by the artwork itself.
The exhibition is accompanied by two catalogues in three languages, published by 10 A.M. ART in partnership with the Galleria Spectra Konkret in Graz, inclusive of an exclusive piece by Paolo Bolpagni. The decision to divide the artists' work between two different volumes emphasizes their independence from one another. Indeed, despite basing their work on shared research, Lucia Di Luciano and Giovanni Pizzo both develop their artistic analysis in a different way, working towards an individual and original aesthetic style.
