The volume is dedicated to three projects realized in Italy by the architect Valbonesi, all of which centre on wineries. A highly topical issue, wineries have seen considerable developments in recent years; they represent an expression and synthesis of a certain way to relate the products of the earth to the landscape that produce them, through stylistic and formal choices that are specifically adapted to the territory, to the use of certain materials, and which consider the impact of these buildings on the landscape.
The book describes the wineries of Campo del Sole (Bertinoro, FC), Tormaresca (San Pietro Vernotico, BR) and Castello della Sala (Ficulle, TR), recent works by Valbonesi. The publication vaunts a large selection of photographs, technical drawings and construction details, to describe the works as completely and exhaustively as possible.
