Il primo ingresso delle monache nel Monastero di Santa Chiara di Verucchio avvenne nel 1636. Un testimone oculare, il notaio Girolamo Celli, scrisse una "Memoria" dell'evento assai particolareggiata e suggestiva. Il manoscritto originale è perduto ma ci è pervenuta la trascrizione di Ariodante Marianni nel 1875. Il linguaggio è elaborato e solenne: il notaio è consapevole di presentare un episodio fondamentale della storia di Verucchio.
