Throughout their careers of more than 30 years Bertozzi & Casoni have built up their interior world, composed "of the things that are inside", in which thought translates their interpretations of reality into externalized images that then take on form as sculpted ceramics. Though at first glance these sculptures might seem "copies of reality", reproductions of that which already exists in our experience, because of the accuracy in the finishing touches of the tiniest details, in fact they only seem to speak the language of realism but rather are related to the more complex one of likeness
