With this volume the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum is continuing a project launched in 1995 to provide restorers active in the field of decorative arts with the means of keeping up with the latest developments.
The texts collected here offer a synthesis of the seminar devoted to leather restoration organized by the Museum in October-November 2000 with the cooperation of the Istituto Centrale per il Restauro and the Istituto per la Patologia del Libro in Rome.
