The book presents a design exercise by the students enrolled in the Two-Year Specialisation Course entitled Exhibition Space Design held at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence; the exercise involved designing a temporary exhibit to be displayed at the Museo di San Marco.
The projects are the end product of a synergetic integration between several disciplines that are part of the following study courses: Exhibition Space Design, Graphic Design Exhibition Set-Ups, and Model-making for Exhibition Set-Ups. The contributions by Angelo Tartuferi, Alessandro Scilipoti, Massimiliano Nocchi, Andrea Gori, Maurizio Di Lella, Catia Kuo, and Giovanni Grimaudo are published in Part One of the book.
