Completely dedicated to the prestigious wood motorboats by Riva, the volume gathers the most beautiful and spectacular pictures of them taken by some of the most famous sea photographers: Carlo Borlenghi, Franco Pace, Benjamin Mendlowitz and Anthony Holder. Author Magrini traces the history of the company, established in 1842, through an account of the personalities credited with building the various models. Each model is described in detail and comes complete with a technical fact sheet. Leafing through the book is an emotional experience, taking us straight back to the 1960s, when actors, VIPs and millionaires from around the world allowed themselves to be immortalised aboard these boats, synonymous with hi-tech luxury. Compared to the 2000 edition, this one has been updated to include the new models built since the 1970s.
