Y08. The Skira Yearbook of World Architecture 2007-2008

Skira presents the first-ever architecture yearbook to take stock of global architecture. Although there are several national yearbooks, such as the Dutch Yearbook, Riba Yearbook, and German Yearbook, there are no publications on the international market that take this global approach. The Skira Architecture Yearbook features over one hundred of the most interesting projects built or designed during the past year. Each project is sumptuously illustrated and many include a critique by a well-known figure and interviews with architects and designers. It also features a selection of annual indexes from the world's top architectural journals and a summary of the most important architectural events that took place throughout the world. Each year, The Skira Architecture Yearbook will also include a poster by a major architect that illustrates her/his vision of the future. Published annually only in English, Skira Architecture Yearbook is a sophisticated product of the highest graphic and editorial standards.
