Photographing the great world capitals: this is the project behind Vision from another world. The aim is to capture the individuality of their architecture and highlight their modernity. The result is an extraordinary collection of cityscapes, colour photographs shot around the world: Tokyo, Berlin, New York, Beijing, Havana, Hong Kong, Athens. As Andrea Alai (writer and theorist on the contemporary world) writes, a careful examination of Rizzi's photographs, "seem to be photographs from another planet, not so much because they are taken in surreal or imaginary settings, or in hidden-away corners that we tend to overlook, but because they tell us about cities in a completely different way from the stereotypes that we have of them".
