Quaderni del PLIDA. B1. Con CD Audio

Alma Edizioni and Società Dante Alighieri are pleased to announce their newly born partnership that aims to develop editorial production, teacher training and overall diffusion of Italian language and culture worldwide.

As a first outcome of this partnership, new ALMAPLIDA book series will soon come to life. ALMAPLIDA books, entirely dedicated to Italian teaching, combine Alma Edizioni's care for innovation and research-based approach as well as PLIDA's prestige and expertise (PLIDA stands for "Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri" - Dante Alighieri Project for the Italian Language). With unexpected rapidity, PLIDA has become provider of the most popular and important certificate of knowledge of the Italian language.

Through a wide and comprehensive range of learning materials, this new series aims to make new perspective, novel teaching techniques, as well as innovation learning tips available for teachers, students, scholars and whoever has a special interest in the Italian language.

QUADERNI DEL PLIDA will be the first publication included in the series.

QUADERNI DEL PLIDA comprehend six books - one for each of PLIDA certification (A1 - A2 - B1 - B2 - C1 - C2) - and are a useful, straightforward and informative tool for whoever wishes to test his/her abilities before a PLIDA exam session, or simply practice his/her Italian skills.
Each book includes charts with information on everything a student must "know" and "to know how to do" in order to pass exams at each PLIDA level and for all abilities (listening, reading, writing and speaking).

Each book includes a wide range of exercises on language structures that must be covered for each certificate as well as a collection of past tests (two for each ability), complete with answer keys.
An audio CD with tracks to use for listening test is also available.

Books covering A1, A2 and B1 levels will be available in June 2009 Books covering B2, C1 and C2 levels will be available in October 2009



About PLIDA

PLIDA certificate is an official diploma issued by Società Dante Alighieri in accordance with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. PLIDA certificate proves ability in Italian as a foreign language, using a scale of six levels, from A1 to C2, as dictated by the European Common Framework of the European Council.
