New Horizons in Car Design. Roberto Piatti and the case of Torino Design

Roberto Piatti founded Torino Design in 2006, alluding in his use of the city's name to the particular nature of the project, namely the car, the motor vehicle par excellence and still the reigning queen of products.
Neither pursuing utopian hypotheses of overnight revolutionary redemption for the sector not intending to fall back on schemata and structures that have proved increasingly burdensome and even obsolete over time, he adopted a new approach from the very outset, assembling a small team of top professionals, a close-knit and well-trained commando unit, an agile gazelle to compete with the elephants of Turin's major style centres with their armies of employees.
