The General Decree The International Associations of the Faithful is the fruit of long ecclesial experience, work and reflection. It is a Decree issued by the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life in the light of the Holy See's decades of accompanying ecclesial movements, associations of the faithful and new communities. This volume offers the full texts of the General Decree and the attached Explanatory Note, together with the commentary by Ulrich Rhode, SI, published in L'Osservatore Romano. These texts, with further explanations and comments, are accompanied by the proceedings of the meeting with Moderators of the ecclesial movements, entitled "The Responsibility of Governance in Lay Aggregations: an Ecclesial Service', held on 16 September 2021 in the Vatican, at which the Holy Father Pope Francis spoke.
