"From dream to sign" is the tile Carlo Malerba has chosen for the present "narration by projects" and nothing embodies better the intimate reasons of his work than the will, the urge to make a dream come true through design.

"Restlessness and curiosity - Malerba says - the restlessness which has always characterized me and has always urged me to escape foregone conclusions; the curiosity which I consider architect's necessary and fundamental characteristic. Exploring the limits, walking on the edge, crossing the borders: in other words, experimentation has always been a set of mind I could not live without, even though I have always been aware of possible failures, disappointments".
