Advanced Search
Our database catalogues each book under the
following three headings: Subject, Period and Place.
You can specify your search by selecting these catagories, therefore
displaying only the titles containing your selection. (This
catagorisation can also be used for your Mailing List and personalised
Homepage.)
For example if you are interested solely in Renaissance Ceramics
from Venice, select: Subject
" Ceramics", Period
"XV-XVIII sec. Renaissance"', Place
"Venice", or if you are interested in all titles relating
to Florence: leave the fields for Subject and Period with "All"
and select Place "Florence".
Your search will display 1-20 titles per page.
It is also possible to filter your search by New publications,
Books with 50% discount, out of print books and Bank publications.
You can also choose to retrieve your search to view titles by
alphabetical order or by date of insertion in Database (Order
by) which will show in order of the most recently inserted titles.
To view an explanation of the Subject and Extra Subject catagories,
select a category and click on Subject Definition. |
